This is a beginner/intermediate bass lesson with a blues progression. All I did was take a typical blues chord progression and make it a little funkier. The tempo of the drum machine is 101 bpm. Try this at different tempos and change the notes around to make it your own.

No tabs, no sheet music so you need to use your ears!

Learning Hints* -
1. The song is in the key of E major(E). So in this case your first note on the bass is E.
2. Listen to the song and take notes of where the different sections(verse, chorus etc) are and then learn each section separately and then put it all together.
2. Look at my left hand and where I'm playing the song on the bass neck.
3. Develop a system that works for you that will help you learn songs quickly and accurately.
4. If you use tabs only use them to verify what you've already learned by ear or to help you with a note(s) that are hard to hear on the recording and giving you trouble.

It may take the beginners a while but it's very doable. It does get easier the more you do it so get to work! :-)
