Hello bass mates, it seems strange but this time I play some funk fingerstyle bass grooves with all my pizzicato funky bass style! But don't worry, there are some slapped parts!

I had fun with some bass grooves fingerstyle based on a shuffle funky song at 93 bpm. For this
song I composed several bass riffs and I merged them into an amazing sequence, then I recorded everything as always by playing along. First, second and third riffs are played with pizzicato/fingerstyle technique, on the other bass patterns and solos I slap the bass hard as usual! Bass riffs are full of slides and hammer-on to get a rich and original bass song! I really hope you enjoy it and feel free to ask me for TABs and backing tracks in comments, if we will a few of us asking for this I could provide them!

The song arrangement is pretty basic, there is a funky guitar that just turns around the chords and a programmed shuffle drums that walks with the bass groove.

The bass is the Marcus Miller SIRE V7 Vintage 2nd Gen setted flat and active, the pick up balance is at center. I recorded my Sire bass with the Orange Terror Bass 1000 head even tho the orange light light has now burned out ​(have to change it again lol). I added the API 2500 compressor on the bass on post production fase, I love the way it stucks every note at the same volume!
