This is my rockin' rendition of Wild Cherry's EPIC single from 1976. It was recorded with at least two guitars... one playing that classic riff and one playing the funk chords. In this version, I opened with the classic riff, played some funky chords for the verses, added some note by note finger work for the chorus and threw in that rippin' solo at 2:38. Purists will hate, but this is only one interpretation. I just loved this song when it came out. Still do. Writing credits to Rob Parissi. Rock on Stubenville, Ohio!
