Learn this funky blues guitar lick in the style of the great Albert King with on-screen tab! Albert King has been a big influence on blues players like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton and his blues guitar licks and style are definitely worth checking out. This blues lick is in the key of B minor and comes from the B minor pentatonic scale and is using some funky guitar double stops and a cool blues bending flourish at the end. Follow the picking for the funky double-stops, it's important if you want to get the feel right. The bending phrase at the end of the lick is using a super common blues lick and slides up into the sliding position of B minor pentatonic. Follow the guitar tab to make learning this lick easier and make sure to use the ideas in this lesson to devise cool blues guitar licks and solos of your own.
