This funky, beautiful love jam was written and produced by Wayne Henderson for the self-titled debut LP by Ebony Rhythm Funk Campaign, released on Uni Records/MCA in 1973.

It was the first of two albums put out by Ebony Rhythm Funk Campaign (ERFC), an Indianapolis-based funk group. They followed it up with Watchin' You, Watchin' Me (1976) on Chi-Sound Records, which was produced by Carl Davis.

The members of ERFC in 1973 were:

Bass – Lester Lamonte Johnson
Drums – Matthew R. Watson
Flugelhorn – Sean Hendrick
Guitar – Master Boobie Townsend
Keyboards – John "Ricky" Jackson
Tenor Saxophone – H. Leon Miles
Lead Vocals – Pam Tanner, Anthony J. Roberts

Wayne Henderson was still a member of the Crusaders when he produced ERFC's debut LP, the jazz group he co-founded in 1961 as the Jazz Crusaders. After releasing nearly 30 albums with the group, he left in 1976 to focus on producing other artists and his own solo albums.
