After reaching Kingston with my last video, i want you to take you to a musical journey to New York and then directly to Havanna.
New York in the 90s... That's for me purely Hip Hop with a deep funky note.
--Indeed i was in the 90s in New York City and could feel the vibes of smoky jazzclubs and the brooklyn bridge.
With a friend we loved to listen to funky breaks and he was scratchin to it. For me i was listening to this funky sh.. The first beat in this video is one of this loops which we loved so much.--
After that i beat the cowbell with a funky three group 16th note beat.
Cuba is a another big inspiration for me and i was lucky to play with some awesome cuban musicians.
