Over a year in the making, we are proud to announce the seventh Discolidays release which brings two heavyweight music legends onto one piece of wax: Patrice Rushen and Nile Rodgers no less!
This is a collaboration with Strut Records - a label long admired by The Reflex – who asked him to remix the exquisite ‘Lights Out’ by Nubiyan Twist ft. Nile Rodgers, released digitally as a single in 2024 and now making its vinyl debut.

Gracing the A side is The Reflex thunderous revision of Patrice Rushen ‘Time Will Tell’, originally featured on her 1980 album ‘Posh’. Remixed for the first time from the 24track session, slightly slowed -down from 136 bpm to a 130 bpm peak time, hands in the air anthem, guaranteed to rock dance floors worldwide.
This one is a vinyl-only exclusive for now, a digital release will be announced by Strut in due time.

Both tracks have been beautifully mastered by Frank Merritt at The Carvery, London.
